Join us for a climbing lecture

The first Y Wal lecture: Ganwyd yn Aberteifi, meithrinwyd ar Pen Cemaes! / Born in Cardigan, nurtured out on Cemaes Head

From his early years, scaling the Abbey walls in Llandudoch and following his heart out onto the unforgiving cliffs of Cemaes head, local climber and International Mountain Guide, Mark Thomas, has spent a lifetime, travelling to the most remote, unclimbed big walls and mountains on the planet!

Come and share his experiences and hear about how local legends shaped his childhood and inspired a humble, ordinary, local kid into taking on some of the greatest challenges on Earth.

From the Himalaya to the Arctic, from the Jungles of South America to the deserts of North Africa, this is a story of how life has an incredible way of allowing expression when faced with ultimate choices and a great big dose of suffering!

Where: St. Dogmaels Village Hall
